Tori Piscitelli
Photographic Artist
Tori Piscitelli is a photographic based artist who explores the psychology of human emotions. Through visual storytelling, she employs her own experiences to create photographs that address themes of identity and mental illness. Her work invites an audience to witness the complexity of vulnerability through intentional gestures, writing, and directed narrative. Tori has earned an MFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and her BFA in Art (Photography) from Arizona State University. She is currently based and working in Phoenix, Arizona. Tori is a nationally exhibited artist and has had her work shown in exhibitions with an emphasis on human uniqueness and narratives on human identity. Notable galleries she has been exhibited in are Decode Gallery, Praxis Gallery and Photographic Arts Center, and Midwest Center for Photography.
